From now on I am not ed picking anything that doesn’t provide sources( if its a gun just post the fla( if you did it in flash this is recommended) or post a image with a transparent background ).
Even if you don’t want to get to get ed picked POST YOUR MOTHER FUCKING SOURCES.

Why I am doing this?

I oringally made this site to make it so poeple could upload games, and poeple could make a collection of art/ pictures poeple could use in games, similear to music samples ( same idea behind ccmixter , uses the same software even ) I want to make this happen.

To battle the complaints I am going to list reasons why you should post your sources. there is no reason you shouldn’t

1) Everything you post on this site is protected by creative commons. If you find someone used your shit without attributing you,its like breaking a copywrite law. I will hunt them down and destroy them.
2) Even if it is stolen you should take it as a compliment, They thought your art was good enough to steal!
3)Alot of artists complian that thier art will be used in crappy games. SO WHAT. The more exposore your art gets the better. As long as your credited and its clear who made who it doesn’t matter.

With this propistion comes more responsiblity on my part. I am going to dedicate a entire day going through all 250 pending emails of shit poeple flagged. Also I have a feeling that alot of artists on this site wouldn’t mind posting thier sources they justs never thought to.

I disagree with “reason 3”. This is just stupid. I do not really care how my stuff is used, just not in shit, as it has, and I regret that.

Now, do I get banned or not?

I actually pretty disagree with this rule as well for the simple reason that it’s just nothing than additional work just for me for a hope that will never come true anyways.

I agree with all the points. I don’t care who uses my stuff, as long as they attribute me. And why are people flagging stuff if it’s crap? Just give them a 1/5 and a bad review

I am okay with this because of creative commons, but I hate the idea of people using CT stuff before the mod comes out.

i disagree with people using other peoples art heres why 1. people worked hard to make art to make a good mod and to make it unique and i think its not fair for n00bs to be able to take all their art to make shit mods with it therefor it wont be unique , i think you should change it so they should at least ask for permission on using other peoples stuff..and if they dont ask and just take ….you could ban them.. plus people worked hard to make something for themselves then some little loser can just take it? i don’t like it

What if you take the picture, modify it, then post it? The picture next to my name is from newgrounds, but I modified the chainsaw by putting a lot more blood on it.

do you have to source your user images in your description? And what if you’re using an image making program like “The Gimp” (a very unknown image making program), and you have the file in the wrong format to submit here, so you open it up in paint (because everyone has that program on their computer), and save it as a .jpg, .png, or .gif format? How do we source it then? I’m new here, so I just need to know that.
